AMD recently released a tech demo using such a technique: <a href=\"http:\/\/developer.amd.com\/samples\/demos\/pages\/AMDRadeonHD7900SeriesGraphicsReal-TimeDemos.aspx\">Leo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/aras_p\">Aras Pranckevi\u010dius<\/a>, rendering architect at Unity, discussed modern forward rendering in an article, <a href=\"http:\/\/aras-p.info\/blog\/2012\/03\/02\/2012-theory-for-forward-rendering\/\">2012 Theory for Forward Rendering<\/a>, and later dropped a bunch of <a href=\"http:\/\/aras-p.info\/blog\/2012\/03\/27\/tiled-forward-shading-links\/\">Tiled Forward Shading Links<\/a> (which I won&#8217;t duplicate here so just click). <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/wolfgangengel\">Wolfgang Engel<\/a> argues <a href=\"http:\/\/diaryofagraphicsprogrammer.blogspot.jp\/2012\/04\/tile-based-deferred-and-forward.html\">tiled based approaches don&#8217;t pay back when many lights cast shadows<\/a>, compared to deferred lighting.
